NeuralCIM® (NeuroEPO-plus)
A neuroprotective medication developed in Cuba for the supportive treatment of neurodegenerative diseases.
What is NeuralCIM®?
NeuralCIM® (also known as NeuroEPO-plus) is a neuroprotective medication developed in Cuba for the supportive treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. It is derived from a modified form of erythropoietin (EPO) and is administered intranasally, allowing direct access to the central nervous system through the nasal-brain pathway.
Unlike erythropoietin used for blood production, NeuralCIM® is specifically engineered to be neuroprotective without stimulating red blood cell production. It aims to protect neurons, reduce neuroinflammation, support neuronal survival, and help stabilize cognitive function in patients with mild-to-moderate Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative conditions.
Neuroprotective
Designed to protect neurons and support brain cell survival.
Intranasal Delivery
Administered through the nasal route for direct brain access.
Anti-inflammatory
Aims to reduce neuroinflammation associated with neurodegeneration.
